Our Elixirs function more like hydrating treatment serums that are delivered in mist form. They provide the essential hydration step in a moisturizing ritual to be paired with our Serums and/or Balms.
In place of water, each Elixir begins with artisan-distilled, single-farm hydrosols and then we layer in herbalist-prepared extracts of fresh, whole plants chosen specifically for each formula to create potent, water-soluble nutrition for the skin. The ingredient and phytochemistry lists of our Elixirs read more like a botanical inventory than a conventional skincare formula, reflecting the medicinal intelligence of the plants themselves.
Hydrating Elixir II is composed of 25 medicinal plants, layered to calm, cool, and restore balance to irritated and inflamed skin. CHAMOMILE anchors the formula, a gentle and historically used flower known for quickly soothing reactivity. Whole-plant infusions of MILKY OATS and CALENDULA provide a deep hydration layer with polysaccharides and B vitamins, reinforcing the skin’s lipid and microbial barrier.
Calming MEADOWSWEET helps to tonify and pacify both mild breakouts and chronic acne, as well as gently clarifying pores. Powerful anti-inflammatory allies LICORICE, TURMERIC, and PASSIONFLOWER, with an efficacy on par with corticosteroids, work together to provide immediate relief while brightening post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. With aromatics reminiscent of a wild and unruly herbal garden, NEROLI, LEMON BALM, and HELICHRYSUM contribute their restorative support in helping stressed skin recover its equilibrium.
