This potent master-distilled German Chamomile Hydrosol is the ultimate cooler, soother, and reliever for reactive, inflamed, or acneic skin. These tiny and delicate white flowers are a skin game-changer by reducing redness, itching or irritation instantly. German Chamomile is balancing to the skin’s microbiome and is an ally for acne, breakouts and congested skin. The aroma of this hydrosol is a combination of honey, grasses, hay and candied floral notes.
Skin: This hydrosol has a notable phytochemical called Azulene, which is responsible for much of its calming and cooling abilities. Apply this Hydrosol to inflamed or cystic acne to reduce swelling and redness. On the body, use this on any irritated skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, rashes, burns, blisters or bug bites. This hydrosol is very safe and well suited to children of all ages.
Body: Chamomile is a nervine with anti-spasmodic and analgesic properties, which means it calms and soothes the nerves when they are under duress. In addition to treating all of the full body skin concerns above, try misting on the body anywhere nerve pain is experienced. Follow with an application of Sun Body Oil for a soothing medicinal treatment.

Chamomile – Our German Chamomile Hydrosol comes from a farm in the Pacific Northwest that we have worked with for over a decade. After harvesting fresh flowers in the early morning from their own farm, they put them through an all-day distillation process in authentic copper stills. This ingredient has long been the highlight of both our Support Cleanser and our Hydrating Elixir II, and its an exciting moment to finally be sharing it with you in its purest form.

Shake product well with each use and mist directly on to skin, body, linens, or throughout the room and space. Inhale deeply and repeat as often as needed.
Store this product in a cool, dry, and dark place. Use within 6 months of opening and within the use by date noted on the bottom of the bottle.
Chamomile Hydrosol is my personal go-to for post sun exposure. I take it with me to the beach or on a long hike and spray my body at the first sign of redness. It instantly cools me down and reduces the inflammation that is responsible for sunburn and sun damage.
Additionally, it has become a great love for my own irritability. As a Taurus, I know a thing or two about impatience. It is one of the quickest traits to bring about a child-like temper tantrum state from me. There is something about Chamomile that can smooth out or diffuse the situation – it takes the edge off and can help up my patience quota for the day!
How is Chamomile Hydrosol different than Calendula Hydrosol?
When describing Chamomile Hydrosol it can sound a lot like Calendula Hydrosol. Both are soothing to skin. Chamomile is even more well suited to skin that is currently in reactive, irritated or crisis mode, especially acne or breakout prone skin that needs balancing. Whereas Calendula is a bit more suited to very sensitive skin, damaged barriers or rosacea when the skin needs more strengthening as opposed to balancing out. Similarly to Calendula, this Chamomile Hydrosol can be used for everything from bug bites and eczema to rosacea symptoms. Both are herbs that are powerful skin healers, no matter what the skin is experiencing.
