Our Compounds are designed to be paired with an Elixir. For chronically dry or dehydrated skin, this duo creates one of the most effective, long-lasting hydration combinations we’ve ever made.

HYDRATION COMPOUND
A concentrated, topical supplement for skin experiencing dryness, dehydration, fine lines, and a loss of firmness. Layered with infusions of Heirloom Rose Petals, Chia Seed, Marshmallow Root, and Astragalus Root, these deeply hydrating and plumping botanicals provide a whole-plant alternative to conventional hyaluronic acid. Skin is visibly firmer, more supple, and replenished with lasting hydration. Hydration Compound is a whole-plant alternative to conventional hyaluronic acid serums.

HYDRATING ELIXIR I
A replenishing serum-mist hybrid unlike any other, Hydrating Elixir I was created to address dryness, dehydration, and skin that has lost vitality. Applied as a mist, this super hydrator restores suppleness and firmness through botanical hyaluronic acid and polysaccharides, along with water-soluble minerals and antioxidants. This Elixir stands out in our line as a best-seller and a gold standard for hydration informed by whole-plant medicine.

USAGE

HYDRATE: Hydrating Elixir I

Shake Elixir well with each use and mist directly and generously onto clean skin. Follow with Compound application while skin is still damp.

TREAT: Hydration Compound
Shake well before each use; for best mixing results, empty dropper fully prior to shaking. Press 3–5 drops of Compound into the slightly damp face, neck, and décolleté. Follow with Serum and/or Balm.

SENSITIVITY NOTE
Our Compounds are not recommended for reactive skin (with the exception of Soothe Compound). Due to the phytonutrient potency of our Compounds, we do not recommend them for those who are brand new to Laurel Skin, but rather for those who are already using a Laurel Skin ritual with ease.

RITUAL
Marshmallow Root is an herbalist’s most powerful water binder. Hydration Compound needs a companion Hydrating Elixir to achieve its hydrating effects. The Marshmallow Root will bind with the waters of the Elixir to draw hydration deep into the skin, accentuating a plumping and firming effect. Then the final Serum step locks it in. Hydration Compound is our Compound of choice when we have a photoshoot, or special event – if your skin needs to look its absolute best that day, Hydration Compound, as a plumper and firmer, is the one to reach for.

Store this product in a cool, dry, and dark place. Use within 6 months of opening and by the use-by date found on the bottom of the bottle.
