Formulated to nourish and deeply restore moisture and hydration to skin that is chronically dry, tired and stressed. Cornflower Mask’s rich texture comes from crushed petals suspended within a whipped raw honey balm. The powerful flavonoid duo anthocyanin and apigenin, found in these vibrant blue Cornflower petals, strengthens skin against free-radical damage and provides fast-acting anti-inflammatory relief. This Mask is best suited to dry, dehydrated skin, as well as being well-suited to sensitive skin with a compromised barrier.
Marshmallow Root and Honey provide long-lasting and plumping hydration, in combination with antioxidant-rich barrier support from Macadamia Nut, Cranberry Seed and Tamanu Oils. A powerhouse range of nutrient-dense tonic herb infusions – such as Nettle, Comfrey and Horsetail – are included for their exceptional ability to shift the quality of the skin. Micro-dosed Carrot Seed and Blue Chamomile essential oils further regulate the skin’s stress response. Cornflower Mask provides luscious restoration and deep and lasting moisture renewal.

Cornflower – Suspended in a base of raw, wildflower honey and unrefined oils are vibrant blue Cornflower Petals. Rich in the flavonoid anthocyanin, Cornflower’s abilities include strengthening the life cycle of the cell and repairing cell damage. The phytonutrient apigenin, also present in Cornflower, has been studied for its ability to prevent certain types of skin cancer. Gel-like mucilage in Cornflower contributes to its exceptional ability to condition and soothe the skin.
Horsetail – Horsetail contains high amounts of amino acids and minerals – specifically silica – supporting the production of collagen, helping to maintain skin elasticity and firmness. The tannins present in Horsetail help to tone the skin and improve texture.
Nettle – Nettle leaf is rich in hundreds of plant constituents like vitamins A,B,C,D,E,K; minerals such as iron, calcium, zinc, and magnesium; and polyphenol compounds to nourish cells with the building blocks that support every aspect of healthy skin function.
Macadamia Nut Oil – Fresh and completely unprocessed, from a family farm on the big island of Hawaii. High in skin-firming tannins, vitamin E, essential fatty acids, and naturally occurring squalene. This beautifully light oil is easily absorbed into the skin, leaving a smooth texture and prolonged moisture barrier – a true beauty oil.
Moringa Leaf + Seed – Moringa Oil is plentiful in trace minerals and amino acids – crucial building blocks for the skin – and its flavonoid and carotenoid compounds protect cells from damage and oxidative stress.
Honey – Our raw, organically farmed California honey is fresh and vibrant, delivered directly by our partner farms. Honey is an ideal choice to balance the microbiome and it has gentle enzymatic action that works to turn over cells in a non-forceful way. As if that wasn’t enough, Honey is hydrating, and visibly plumps and firms the skin.

Moisten face and hands. Apply 1 teaspoon or less of Cornflower Mask to fingertips, then glide and massage over damp clean skin. Leave on for 10-30 minutes, then remove using a warm, damp cloth. Follow with Elixir and Serum.
Use within 6 months of opening and by the recommended use-by date, which is found on the bottom of the jar. Keep contents of jar dry and free from moisture.
A Sourcing Story
Cornflower Mask perfectly embodies our sourcing practices and highlights our approach to formulation. These vibrant blue flowers popped up all on their own on the land of one of our partnering farms. They took over the fields and were telling me so clearly that they wanted to be made into medicine. As our research went deeper into the plant constituents, we learned of the exceptional abilities this blossom had to share and soon after, the Cornflower Mask was born. This alignment with the Earth, birthing into the world what it tells us is needed, is how we can make products that are so vibrant, potent and intentional. A true collaboration between Laurel Skin and Mother Earth.
